About me

Hello and welcome

My name is Nina Špolar but my friends call me Nini. I very much enjoy creating magical & whimsical pieces of art - be it by drawing, painting or needle felting and sculpting.

I live in Slovenia and am lucky to be able to have daily walks in the beautiful nature where I get my inspiration and a-ha moments from.

Spirit called me years ago and I answered. I have been learning, exploring and upgrading my skills ever since and will continue to do so till the very end. I believe that we are all constantly evolving as do our works.

I really dislike calling myself anything, so stating that I'm a very creative person is the most truthful of all the things. I also love to inspire others and pass on the things I have learned myself which is why I teach on Skillshare.

I love these Picasso quotes as they talk about things that we tend to forget:

"Everything you can imagine is real."

and

"All children are artists. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up."

Keeping the child-like curiosity is something I wish to pass on in my work just as much as the good vibrations that are connected to it. I hope you will see and feel what I feel and that you will benefit from it for a long time.
